Chaan Thai Massage is looking for additional practitioners to accommodate our growing business. Successful candidates must possess extensive training in traditional Thai massage, have good interpersonal skills, demonstrate reliability, and have proven ability to work with others as well as independently. We will train the right candidate. Duties include performing traditional Thai massage through positioning and stretching the client’s body in a series of Thai Yoga poses. The massage practitioner works with the client’s body to increase flexibility and to help maintain its proper form. The massage practitioner must also be able to evaluate the client’s level of fitness in order to apply the correct, balanced treatments. Solid communication skills are required in order to properly answer any questions a client may have.

Spa Manager:

Full-time position (2 positions available)

Fairfax, VA

Duties: Manage the day-to-day operations of the spa, scheduling staff shifts and ensuring successful performance of the massage spa; Respond to customer inquiries and resolve possible complaints; Establish customer service standards for staff to follow ensure they are maintained during busy times; Provide guidance to customers regarding the best service offers and retail products offered by the spa; Ensure that the high standard of sanitation in the spa is maintained; Keep track of inventory, and placing orders for supplies needed and maintaining accurate records; Perform payroll and general bookkeeping duties; Provide company management with reports on financial transactions and ensure budget goals are achieved; Implement marketing strategies and identify opportunities to promote the spa, including placing ads in local publications and conducting special events or cross-promote with other local businesses; Manage social media presence, responding to feedback in a timely and professional manner. Required experience and education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in Management, marketing, health or any related field of study. At least 24 months of proven experience as a manager, sales associate, client care associate, or in any related occupation.
